FAQs

What areas do you cover?

We are based in the East Midlands, but cover all areas of the UK and Destination weddings. We often provide wedding videography in areas such as Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Manchester, Cheshire, Oxfordshire, Cambridgeshire to name but a few.

How many videographers do I need for my wedding?

We advise having at least two videographers to film your wedding. This is because it allows us film from a variety of different angles and also gives the flexibility of being in more than one location at once. For example, one videographer could be filming you having your pictures taken, whilst another is filming all the fine details of your wedding reception.

For larger events including guest counts of over 3oo people, it may be worth considering a 3rd videographer. However, we’d be more than happy to discuss your needs with you and advise on the best approach to your wedding videography.

Can we view a full wedding film sample?

Our show reels give a very good overview of our work, and show snapshots of the different parts of the day. Should you wish to see an example of a wedding from beginning to end, we will be more than willing to show you examples of this when we hold the pre-wedding meeting with yourselves. We can then discuss any special moments that you may wish to have included in your film.

Will we be the first to see the completed sample?

Yes, of course, no copies or images from your film will be shared with anyone else prior to you seeing them. Any orders for additional copies of the film will only be supplied after this time. We always go that extra mile for our customers and pride ourselves on the quality of our work, and always aim to provide excellent customer service.

When do we have to pay for our wedding film?

When we have confirmed back to you that your chosen wedding date is available and you have completed the booking form that will be forwarded to you, there will be a non-returnable deposit of £400 to pay. This can be provided either by cheque to the address provided or via BACS transfer from your bank account. Our bank account details and how to pay will be provided at the time of booking. The final balance will need to be paid at least one calendar month before your wedding date.

Can we choose our own music?

Yes, of course you can – it is your wedding so you can have whatever choice of music you wish. This is because we are covered by PPL and MCPS Licenses which allow us to use any music that you would want to have.

How long does it take to create and edit our wedding film?

In addition to the filming of your special day, a lot of time is spent creating and editing the film and this is not a quick process. Each clip has to be edited, colour matched and synchronised with the sound recording and your music choice. This is all done in house, so that you have a bespoke film. We do not send our films out to be edited by freelance editors. The minimum average waiting time for a film to be completed is between 8-10 weeks. However in particular months such as July/August/September, due to the increased volume of weddings, it may take up to 16 weeks. This in comparison to a lot of other videography companies is still a relatively short waiting time as many quote at least 16 weeks as standard.

Can we have/purchase the RAW footage from you of our day?

RAW footage from the day can be purchased from us for a cost of £500 + delivery. This would include hard drive delivery with sufficient space to withhold all the footage.
