About Christopher
For almost two decades, I have had the privilege of documenting one of life’s most meaningful occasions. During that time, I’ve come to believe that the most extraordinary moments are rarely the ones that are planned – they’re the quiet glances, spontaneous laughter and genuine emotion that unfold naturally throughout the day.
That belief has shaped the way I work. Rather than directing or interrupting the celebration, I take a discreet, documentary approach, allowing each wedding to unfold exactly as it should. The result is a film that feels honest, timeless and unmistakably personal—capturing not only how your wedding looked, but how it truly felt.
Over the years, this approach has led me to work alongside many of the UK’s leading luxury wedding planners, photographers and creative teams, documenting celebrations throughout the UK, Europe and beyond. I was honoured to be named UK Wedding Videographer of the Year at The Wedding Industry Awards and recognised among the UK’s Top 10 Wedding Videographers. Christopher Paul Films is also proud to be a recommended videography partner for Sarah Haywood Weddings, one of the world’s most respected luxury wedding planning companies.
My work has also included private commissions for high-profile international families where discretion and confidentiality were paramount. Those experiences have reinforced a principle that remains at the heart of every wedding I film: trust is earned not only through the finished film, but through the professionalism, calmness and care shown throughout the entire experience.
To ensure every couple receives that level of attention, I deliberately limit the number of weddings I accept each year. This allows me to remain personally involved in every stage of the process—from our first conversation through to crafting the final film—with the time, care and attention that each story deserves.
Whether it’s an intimate celebration in the English countryside or a multi-day destination wedding abroad, my goal is always the same: to create a film that will feel every bit as meaningful decades from now as it does today.”
My philosophy
The most meaningful moments are never created for the camera
Rather than directing the day or drawing attention to the camera, I work discreetly, allowing your celebration to unfold naturally. This unobtrusive presence gives you the freedom to be fully present with the people who matter most, without feeling observed or interrupted.
It is within these unscripted moments that the true character of a wedding reveals itself — the anticipation before the ceremony, the embrace of a loved one, the energy of the dance floor, the fleeting glances and quiet exchanges that might otherwise pass unnoticed.
By observing with intention and filming with restraint, I create films that feel elegant, authentic and enduring.
To ensure every film receives the attention it deserves, I intentionally limit the number of celebrations my team and I accept each year.
